Emma Joy ’21 earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Harris College and now cares for premature infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Harris College caught up with kinesiology alum Suzanne Roudebush ’21 where she delved into her time at TCU and how Harris College helped her achieve her goals.

I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from TCU in December 2019. However, before graduating with my BSN, I knew I would return to TCU for my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)! I had such a great undergraduate experience with the undergraduate faculty and knew I would have the same experience in graduate school.

Health sciences a rapidly growing field. To meet this demand, our Ph.D. in Health Sciences program targets specific areas of health sciences including kinesiology, social work, nursing, nurse anesthesia and communication sciences and disorders.

Graduate speech-language pathology students in the Davies School of Communication Sciences & Disorders recently visited Sydney, Australia as part of their summer study abroad course, “Evidence-Based Practice in Speech-Language Pathology: Developing a Global Perspective Through Australian Study.” Learn how their exploration of evidence-based practice, cultural diversity, and issues of health advocacy in the land down under enhanced their learning and growth at Harris College in their own words.
